Jennifer Motyka Dwight graduated from Hartwick College as a two-time All-American and the program's all-time leading scorer in field hockey. A prodigious scorer, Motyka tallied Hartwick records of 67 goals and 150 points in her career.

She helped lead the 1996 field hockey team to the NCAA Championship game and was named to the All-Tournament team at the final four after scoring a pair of goals in the national semifinals.

As a freshman, she was the leading scorer on a team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, and as a sophomore helped the Hawks win an ECAC Tournament title. She was selected as a second-team All-American after her junior and senior seasons, and was a regional All-America selection all four years.

After graduation she served as an assistant coach at Hamilton College, and was later the first-ever field hockey coach at SUNY-New Paltz when that school started its program.
