Hartwick College Athletics

Phillips was a four-year swimmer for the Hawks specializing in the freestyle and breaststroke events. At the end of the 2011-2012 season, he came away with four NCAA Honorable Mention honors with an 11th place finish in the 100 breaststroke, 13th place finish in the 400 free relay, 14th place finish in the 200 free relay, and 15th place finish in the 800 free relay. Phillips capped off his career earning NCAA All-American Honors, finishing 8th in the 200 breaststroke at the NCAA Championships.
