Hartwick Athletics Hall of Fame
Shannon McConville Hay ’93 was just the sixth player in the history of Hartwick women’s soccer to garner All-America honors. She led the Warriors to 37 victories in her three seasons with the program and three appearances in postseason play.
Despite only three years with the team, Hay remains third in ’Wick history in both points (73) and goals (29), and is tied for 4th in assists (15). She helped Hartwick to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 1990 and a spot in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament the following season. In 1992, she tallied 13 times and registered 30 points to guide the team to a College-record 14 wins and the program’s only ECAC Championship.
A three-time New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association All-Star and two-time Empire Athletic Association First Team selection, Hay was tabbed All-Region and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Second Team All-American after her senior season.
