Marcus Morreale '95 (Men's Lacrosse): Morreale was a cornerstone of the Hartwick men's lacrosse team during its early 1990s rise to national prominence. After transferring from Syracuse University, he spent three seasons (1993–1995) as a standout defender for the Hawks, helping guide the program to a 31-13 record and historic postseason success.

In 1995, Morreale helped lead Hartwick to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, capping off a 12-3 season. The team also won back-to-back ECAC Upstate Tournament Championships in 1993 and 1994.

A two-time Empire Athletic Association First Team all-star and 1993 Second Team honoree, Morreale was recognized nationally as a 1994 USILA Honorable Mention All-American and a 1995 USILA Second Team All-American. He capped his collegiate career by competing in the prestigious 1995 North/South Senior All-Star Game.

Over three seasons, Morreale compiled three goals, six assists, and nine points, as well as corralling 171 ground balls over his career.

A steady force on defense and a leader in transition play, Marcus Morreale left a lasting impact on the field and in the record books, playing a key role in one of the most successful eras in Hartwick lacrosse history.
