Tyler Hemming '07 was a stalwart men’s soccer player from the years of 2003-2006, helping the Hawks to a 49-21-7 record over his four-year career.

The London, Ontario native was named the Atlantic Soccer Conference Most Valuable Player in both 2005 and 2006 as well as to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America / Adidas All-Region First Team.

Hemming helped Hartwick to an NCAA Tournament appearance in his junior campaign and led the team in goals (10) and points (21) in his senior season. He closed his career with a total of 16 goals and four assists in 57 games played, while seeing a majority of time on the field on the back line.

Hemming was drafted by Toronto FC as the 40th pick in the 2007 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft and made seven appearances for the club. He made a pair of appearances for the Canadian National Team, debuting on May 30, 2009 in a friendly match in Cyprus.

Hemming has suited up in Europe for Tampere United in Finland’s top league, Veikkausliiga, as well as stints with the United Soccer Leagues’ Charleston Battery, Austin Aztex, and the USSF D2 Pro League’s Montreal Impact. At the time of his induction, Hemming was a member of Forest City London Football Club of the USL Premier Development League.
