Ryan Soule '03 is one of the top receivers in the history of the Hartwick football program. In 2002, Soule recorded one of the best seasons in Division III history, ranking in the top 15 nationally in five separate offensive categories.

A native of Spencer, NY, Soule finished his senior season leading the country in reception yards per game (155.0) and ended up 2nd in all-purpose yards (220.3), 5th in points per game (13.2), 13th in receptions per outing (7.6), and 15th in punt return average (14.6).

He is Hartwick's all-time record holder in reception yards (3,358) and kickoff return yards (2,140), sits 2nd in career receptions (179) and 3rd in career all-purpose yards (5,765). Soule was a Football Gazette (1st Team), American Football Coaches Association (1st Team), and Associated Press All-American (2nd Team) over the course of his career.

He led the Hawks to three ECAC Bowl games, including the 2002 North Atlantic Bowl Championship. Soule was also a baseball and track and field athlete at Hartwick.
